Description:
An apparent cluster of five galaxies in the constellation Pegasus. In fact, the large galaxy at the bottom of the cluster has a measured distance of only 40 million light years, compared to a distance of 300 million light years for the remaining four members, meaning that it is a foreground object and not a physical member of the cluster. At a distance of 300 million light years, the four physical members of the cluster comprise the farthest object that I have imaged.
